Welcome to the website of the Institute of Performing Arts!
The Institute of Performing Arts was established in February 2025 as part of the University of Debrecen’s training development plan, with the aim of developing and extending arts education. The Institute’s objective is to launch programs in various fields of performing arts in the coming years under the supervision of the Faculty of Humanities (BTK).
Through the coordination of the Institute of Performing Arts, numerous training development opportunities may arise that are built on the diversity of education at the University of Debrecen and provide training for professionals in areas where there is a significant shortage of programs both in Hungary and internationally. These include, for example, digital arts, as well as training for digital content developers and service providers.
The Institute will first launch elective courses in both Hungarian and English in the 2025/26 academic year. The courses will be taught by instructors with many years of professional experience.
